When Angry Birds first appeared in the gaming scene back in 2009, people thought that footless birds fired by a slingshot at irritating green piggies is just another concept taking a shot at seeing if players would bite in the fun. Guess what. After two years, the whole world has enjoyed destroying fortresses, tanks, and even other stage contraptions made of wood, blocks, and ice like crazy! It all started as an iPhone app and then expanded in Android, and it has now invaded even PCs and Macs. The madness would not seem to stop anytime soon.
After its first release, Rovio mobile has merged with 20th Century Fox to produce Angry Birds Rio, incorporating the gameplay of smashing and bird banging. But this time, instead of green pigs, freeing birds in a cage, and beating up marmosets, is the main theme of the game. When it was launched in March of 2011 for iOS, Android, and Mac OS X, it only has 2 chapters with 30 levels each. The new setting of the game interests the earlier players of the older seasons, knowing that there are more puzzling challenges to beat and secret rewards to find.

What is even more exciting is that the newer craze has been released, making players more anxious with the updates on the stage. Smuggler’s Den and Jungle Escape have been pre-installed and other levels are waiting to be downloaded for further development. The Beach Volley stage is now available when going to the internet for searching on additional fun, while others are heard to be released in July, October, and November this year. Another new thing is the hidden items found in the game where it has been changed into fruits instead of golden eggs. The new update aims to burn the anger together with the birds in action, set in a fresher atmosphere.
